Kim Raver graduated from Boston University. She is originally from New York City, so she was really excited when she heard that "Third Watch" was being filmed there. She first began acting on "Sesame Street" when she was 6-9. After that, she joined an off-Broadway children's theater.

Kim can speak French and German and is fluent in both languages. She learned German from her mother when she was small. Her hobbies include yoga and running. Her birthday is on March 15th.
